Suffering with Clog Nose

The past days, the weather has been very hot and just few days ago there’s occasional rain. My health may not at par for the main time because I am now suffering with clog nose. Yesterday, it was runny and I have an itchy throat. I took antihistamine to control the cold and to prevent the sneezing. Today is better than yesterday but my nasal passages are clogging. This might be perhaps of the changes of the weather. I tried to drink plenty of water and I hope that this will not progress. I hope your Sunday is fine fellow myLotters. Photo Credit: pixabay.com

I think you can try to have a ginger tea or fluid in your system

With ginger also mix some leaves of Tulsi and little bit black pipper.

Hey Eds I hope you feel better soon. Which antihistamine are you taking? I find Benadryl AH to be most effective.

It's just the generic one. It's the Cetirizine. I also have Sinupret here. It's recommended by my doctor because I am hypertensive. I would be taking this one if this persist.

I really hope you will feel better very soon. My nose is also clogged, a remenant from a cold I had caught about 2 weeks ago. I use salt water and it helps a little bit but it is annoying as hell... Might it be that you are allergic to something?

I think this is caused by bad weather and allergy as well. I caught lots of dust while cleaning up my CPU and other things recently.

You can take steam also with your head and face covered. This may help you a lot.

Well ber months are already here so you would expect cold days coming in our way. If your immune system is not at par you may experience this clogged or stuffy nose every now and then until you become at eased with the weather. Our bodies are transitioning from the hot and humid to cold and dry or sometimes wet.

Hopefully the lasal passages will clear up and there will be less pressure. There can be discomfort when there is pressure within the nasal passages.

Steam is a good and safe solution. Yoga and Prananyam help a lot in long run.
