Sick with a cold here...one thing after another it seems. Things are going okay here. Not much happening. I took a few days off later this week just to relax and get some much needed rest. I haven't used much of my vacation time from work this year yet so I have to use it or I lose it come the end of the year.
This weekend with be a relaxing one because the following two weekends I am busy with a benefit for a friend who has breast cancer and my fiance's Christmas work party. Also the Christmas parade and our Christmas dinner for work will be coming up soon too and my grand daughters Christmas concerts. It's a busy time of year.
My grand daughter was over last weekend for the night. It was nice to see her. It's been almost a month since she was last over. She has been busy with her practices for all the concerts the Youth Orchestra has coming up for the holiday season.

Enjoy your much deserved time off from work. It's nice that your granddaughter was able to come and visit. My grandchildren are busy with all sorts of upcoming holiday things too. We're heading into that time of year

Yes we are. It is a busy time of year for almost everybody. I love this time of the year though. I can't wait to start decorating. :)

Yes they have to book early because there are so many businesses having Christmas parties.

I hope you're feeling better now.. definitely take those vacations. My mom almost missed out on hers, but thankfully took them the last two weeks she could.

@Happy2BeMe me too, we both didn't think she'd get them. not that we went and did much during them.. but still, she deserved them like everyone else.
