1st birthdays are always something that people look forward to.
People would be fuzzing all over the baby or sharing them with the mom or pictures are taken for almost reaction of the baby, from the time he or she opens a gift or the 1st time he or she would be playing with the cake.
What was the most memorable 1st birthday you have attended ?
What did you give the baby ?
Before you bought the gift did you go for the price or the appearance or the practicality of it or its usefulness ?

@Shavkat Birthdays become memorable when love ones are there to celebrate a very special day, may it be a 1st birthday or the 10th birthday :-)

My babies all we're introduced to cake on their first birthdays. Lots if fun memories of little fingers squishing and smearing. I miss those days.

Those were the days that we wish we can just freeze in time, even for awhile.
Children and grandchildren grow so fast that we wish that those birthdays could still be repeated :-)
