You all know by now what my favorite season of the year is. Or most of you, anyway. It starts with W, is cold, and often has something white on the ground.
I've been waiting since the April Blizzard, and finally saw snowflakes when I came out of the Y this morning. Now that put an instant smile on my face.
I know most of you don't want to hear that the W season is almost here and S will soon cover the ground. So, I'm being good and not spelling out those words and cause panic attacks on your minds and hearts.
For those of you, like me, are waiting for the S to arrive, soon. It's in the forecast for the rest of the week and we might get some accumulation.
Just in case you need a reminder of what I'm talking about, I've added an image. It's mine and I know you've already seen it at least once.
I'm going to get back to writing now. I'll pop in tomorrow again and interact with you. Thanks for reading.

@thislittlepennyearns The plows were out this morning. It had almost melted away with the warmer than freezing temps yesterday, so I was thrilled to see more snow on the ground this morning. My view is awesome! We just might have gotten the three inches they predicted we'd get this weekend. We had two inches as of yesterday.

So, did it get cold by you? Was the crazy man crazy or accurate? We have a couple of inches of S on the ground and I'm loving it.

Try a trip to some hill station in winters- may be Ooty or Manali or Shimla and you might get snowfall experience.

@vandana7 there is a mountain range in Andhra Pradesh - is it "Arrey" ?
Does it snows there?
Or is it a low lying mountain?

It makes you happy, so spell it out all you want lol. I'm glad you at least saw snowflakes, and I hope you can see more soon! I hope it kind of snows in December. Not a blizzard or anything, but enough to fit the Christmas season. I think our first big snowfall of the season last year happened to occur on the day my family was decorating the house, so that was perfect.

@vandana7 I was in Nainital in Late Jan-early Feb 2008 and experienced light to moderate snow. But after snowing, the weather became more tolerable.
Before snowing, it was more freezing.
The water in the taps there- oh I experienced that kind of cold water only in England in November-December 2005.

I am! We had enough to make me happy. The south side of the street still has a good amount. However, the northside has melted. I live on the north side and am looking out on a green lawn while across the street has a nice layer of snow.

I had the biggest smile at church yesterday. It snowed overnight and a good portion of the early morning before church. Though it did get warm enough yesterday that most of it melted. Not to worry though. There's more snow in the forecast this week.
When are you leaving?
