Xfinity Finally Did It

I tried to submit an article yesterday but it would not submit. I’ll try again and see what happens. An Xfinity repairman came out today to fix our phone service. It was pouring rain when he came to the door. He told me he would be right back and ran down the hall. I couldn’t imagine what he was doing but he came back in a few minutes with something that looked like a battery. It was about half as big as my little finger. He told us that little thing was the cause of our phone cutting off. He explained it was the problem and said we’d have no more trouble with our phone service. Xfinity had told us online it was fixed a half dozen times but it wasn’t. They finally sent this guy out and it was so simple.

@cintol He explained what it was but it’s something that isn’t necessary for our phone service. As he explained it, It helps some people’s service but not ours.

It wasn’t a battery! Something that looks a little like a battery. There’s nothing I could do. He took it out and didn’t replace it. I didn’t exactly understand why it was there in the first place.

They now have the right repairman that have fixed it. Maybe they get bothered that the repairmen who went there have not repaired it well yet. Now, they will be happy it's finally solved and so will you be happy.

This was the first and only one that came in person. They kept trying to fix it online but that didn’t help. The phone hasn’t cut off today so maybe it’s fixed.

@RubyHawk Oh they did it online. Nothing beats the repair done in person.

@SIMPLYD Right, they couldn’t fix it online, it took someone coming out.

@LadyDuck It was. I’m sure some people thought I was hanging up on them. When I thought about it I’d tell everyone the phone might cut off but sometimes I’d forget.

I do hope so. Every time I was in the middle of a conversation the phone would cut off.

I've had similar experiences when finally someone who knew what they were doing finally solved a problem for real and for good.

I'm glad your phone is fixed. Sometimes it's the little things that cause all the trouble. I'm glad it was an easy fix.
