That time of year

Well, the weather is definitely getting colder. The temperatures were a little below zero yesterday, and we got a small amount of snow. I feel bad for my husband, as he had to to walk a bit in it, on his way to work. The snow is now gone, but it seems as though we may get some more soon.
And we know what that means. It means that we need to get snow boots, coats and all of it out. Or in our case, we have to get new stuff for our kids.
They kind of outgrew their old stuff from last year and their coats and snow pants were really used up. So, we just figured we'd get rid of them and get them new stuff this year. It did make sense as they had been wearing the same stuff for a couple of years. So, they're due.
So, it definitely looks like we'll have to get some new stuff for them this weekend. Especially considering it looks like the temperatures are going down and snow suits will be needed this week.

@arunima25 , So, you don't really get snow exactly where you live?

@dodo19 At my place Banagalore, it is not winter as such. The pleasant weather prevails throughout year with little fluctuations. But for sure, North India is getting colder and there has been few snow showers too in few hilly areas and it is too early for those.

I guess I should bring the snow shovel out of the shed...

We're getting a little taste of winter here in Florida too. I had to break out a t-shirt instead of a tank top, and sneakers instead of flip-flops. Yep, temps dropped about 5 degrees with the latest "cold" front that came through.

@moffittjc oh trust me, I'll send some your way. I wish it was a little warmer here. I'll see if mother nature would be so kind as to send some your way.

@dodo19 Please send some our way. Just yesterday, I was sweating profusely because it was so hot here. Not fair that you get to enjoy winter and we have to endure a continuation of summer.

I remember wearing snow gear as a child in the North. When we got older we didn't bother..just kind of minmized our time in bad weather I guess. I hope you can get what you want for the kids.

We started out the morning with an icy mix that changed to rain. Of course I had to head out before it changed...l

@dodo19 we've been fortunate. The little corner of New Brunswick where we live seems to have missed most of the storms that have severely affected the province.

@Morleyhunt I'm glad that you weren't affected. That's a relief.

I shudder to think we'll be dragging out the winter wear including those boots, hats, scarfs and snow shovels
