The other day while I was putting on lotion, my hubby came in from the shower. I told him to put on lotion, so his skin will be moisturized.
But he declined saying , lotion are for ladies only.
Actually, he really didn’t like to apply lotion , ever since I keep telling him to put some. Thus, I buy soaps that has lots of moisturizers. That way, his skin will also be moisturized.
Do you believe that lotion are for girls only?
For girls here, does your partner apply lotion to their bodies?
For guys, do you apply lotion too?

Will all you women let a man answer? I like when my skin is silky smooth. Women have enough beefs about me, my manly skin does need to be one of them. Come on that is funny.

@ZedSmart Urea lotion. Maybe you should try looking for that at online shopping sites, because of what my officemate experienced.
She was prescribed a cream for her face and a small bottle costs 1900 pesos. Luckily, she saw the big bottle it was poured from and take a picture of it on her phone when the dermatologist went outside to talk to her assistant. She then, told her she will just come back to buy. Then she searched for it online and found it in Lazada. It was half the price of the one small bottle supposedly for sale to her and it's on the big bottle the dermatologist poured it from.

Yes, certainly the boys are so prone to those because they don't apply lotion to their arms and legs.
Good thing, you are now applying a lotion for dry skin. Mind you, the lotions prescribed for those dry skin causing itching, are so expensive.

Yes, when your skin is dry, a lotion is a must. But even if it is not , the lotion can prevent it from getting dry, thus make the skin itchy.

My husband uses Aveeno lotion every day because he is prone to eczema and contact dermatitis. I know that men and women who live in dry, cold climate will have to use lotion to avoid having chapped skin.

You know Aveeno lotion is very expensive. I saw it at supermarkets but don't buy it because it's too expensive. Mine if Nivea.

@SIMPLYD Yes, Aveeno is expensive here. We are grateful to our siblings abroad who regularly buy this lotion for my husband and for my kids. I'm not a big fan of lotion but there are a few brands that I like. Nivea is good too.

That's how men are. They don't want applying things on their bodies.
Though nowadays, the new generation of men are into putting astringent on their faces and lotion on their arms and bodies.

No, I don't think lotion is for girls only. I am a middle aged guy with horrible dry dry and unless I slather on lotion throughout the day, I am miserable. Now, I don't normally use scented lotion that often unless I am out of mine and all the lotion my wife has is scented.

There are lotions that are specifically for very dry skin and that's for both men and women.
In your case, scented lotion isn't what you should be using since you have dry skin.
So, you should have your own type of lotion since your wife's is simply to moisturize and make her skin fragrant also.

My younger daughter probably does not want me to look 95 so she sent me a few months ago 2 or 3 tubes of L'Oreal Men Expert daily moisturizing lotion with active UV defence SPF 15 which I usually apply on the face when I go to our hotel project site. Likewise, she also sent me L'Oreal Men Expert daily moisturizer anti-aging action which I apply on the face and neck after having a shower in the afternoon or evening. I'm not used to applying things like these but I'm doing it so what my daughter sent me won't go to waste LOL! Yesterday, a box arrived containing many items sent by our daughters which included Centrum for Men for me and another bottle of Centrum for their Mom :)

I use body lotion usually after my showers just like my wife, in fact, we both use the same body lotions that work for both of us, usually Olay or Nivea original

It's good that you like putting on lotion. I think men, should really put lotions too in their bodies.

That's good that you start early in preventing your skin to become dry.
