I picked this photo from several photos of California wildfires. No doubt it is a great photo but looks are deceptive as they say. It has engulfed many a home and life.
California is still burning, both North and South. I feel sad for animals who are burnt alive.
Here there are more
Search teams were set to sift through the charred wreckage of Paradise, California, on Tuesday in the search of human remains as authorities investigated the cause of state's deadliest ever wildfire.

@allknowing This is the worst that California ever experienced, they blame the global warming, too dry, too hot.

I do not even want to think of it. We all are proud of our homes and without notice they just disappear - unbearable

It is short of pretty it's it weren't causing harm and doing damage in the process. It's awful that these aren't fewer and further between.
I wonder why they're calling it a camp fire? Do you know if they believe it began after a campfire wasn't completely extinguished? Or if it originated near an area with that name?

As a precautionary measure many have been asked to leave their homes. My nephew and his family have now returned after being away for a few days.

@allknowing I'm glad it was safe for them to return. A whole city is gone because of the fire.

What a catastrophe this is, lives and the home of animals were taken easily by this fire. Who shall be blamed? Well, humans are really responsible with this.

Wildfires have been there for many many years but this one was the worst ever. I do not know who to blame.

@allknowing Maybe it is really inevitable. I saw one too here in the Philippines too. It's saddens me knowing that we can't do anything about this.
