The Local APPLE in my City: "Sayote"

In my city, we always have 'sayote' or chayote in the backyard. It is a live saver for some locals if wanting to have something on the plate. It is like a papaya fruit that can be used with the other vegetables. In some countries, they call it as 'mirliton squash.' Some locals eat them fresh like an apple fruit. "Do you have this kind of edible plant or fruit in your country?" "Have you tried eating them?"

@Shavkat I would say apples are the most common fruit tree to grow around here. I would love a peach and plum tree too.

@shaggin I will try if it is possible to have apple trees in my city. Since I am living in the mountainside of my country. I think it is cold weather here all year round.

I do like them. If I have the chance, I can show it to you. We don't have apple trees here. That's bad. I had seen some articles that apples were being shared with the other people.

I like it stir fried. I remember drinking juice from it because it is believed that it is good with people with hypertension. I grated two of it and squeezed/extract its juice. It's not bad though.
