The Local APPLE in my City: "Sayote"

In my city, we always have 'sayote' or chayote in the backyard. It is a live saver for some locals if wanting to have something on the plate. It is like a papaya fruit that can be used with the other vegetables. In some countries, they call it as 'mirliton squash.' Some locals eat them fresh like an apple fruit.
"Do you have this kind of edible plant or fruit in your country?"
"Have you tried eating them?"

@Letranknight2015 It is nice to have them with the family. It is the quickest to have something for a meal.
