“Why should we SPREAD KINDNESS to everyone we meet?”

For so many reasons in this world, some people cannot spread their kindness to others. It is because of the changes or being in the modern era. If you are really believing in God, then it is better to practice the Golden Rule: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you".
“Is it difficult to do this?”
“Do you spread kindness to others?”

@db20747 Showing kindness is a wonderful thing but we live in a crazy world and even in that we need to be cautious.

I don't think being a Christian automatically makes a person a great person or one sharing of kindness to others.
I've seen a lot of "Christians" who spread hate.
I think being a good person in general, who follows the golden rule, tends to spread kindness. I don't think its really difficult to do. It costs nothing to smile to someone or wave. That's just being nice.
1 smile can really change a persons day and they have done studies that show if a person is smiled at, they are more likely to also smile at a stranger. So really, one tiny act of kindness can really spread joy without any effort!

This is true. But not true to all. I heard of one story, the old woman tried to help the woman who was lost. The former didnt know that she was a hypnotist. She just found herself inside the bank with this stranger to withdraw all her money. By the time she arrived home, it was only then she realized everything- she was robbed!

I spread kindness when I can. There are people who take advantage of kind strangers, and it is important to be careful. I like this quote by Leo Buscaglia: "Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around."

@Shavkat Yes, unfortunately we have to be careful. There are many stories about criminals who have taken of advantage of people's kindness like the ones who pretend that they need help. They don't really need help it is just a way to steal people's bags.

@Porcospino I agree. We need to have extra careful when talking with other local people, especially in a new place.

That image just about says it all really.
Its not easy to be kind to others sometimes and they react different.
If you smile here even they think you strange.
Even so I try to be kind also that is if they will let me.

I tried that. My maid here always complains of leg pains, and she does not know how to use knives. So she sits on the floor and chops vegetables before frying them. I tried to chop it for her, so that she can cook, effectively sparing her that pain, and some time as well. The next thing I knew she started bossing on me, and talking to me disrespectfully also. I was told by my neighbor that such westernized things are not ok out here. I stopped helping her. Instead bought her some spray which she can use for her leg pains if and when she has pains. What do you know, she does not have those pains as often as before. LOL

Always be a blessing to others. Being kind to others is blessing them already. God blesses people to bless people.

I believe the world would be a better place if we could all get along with one another and no one fighting with someone else or trying to murder them. That would be nice but that is not how the world works. We have lots and lots of bad people out there causing lots of trouble. I try to be a decent human being. No, I am not always nice. If someone treats me poorly I do not like it.

This is a Great Discussion. Spreading Unconditional Love and Kindness is the only way. It can be hard to do at first, however if one makes it a part of who they are, it seems pretty normal.
The world returns what you give it. With this in mind, Unconditional Love is the only real choice.

It's not difficult when you truly love Jesus and you stay in a spiritual mindset. It's only hard when we focus on the worldly things.

I do my best to lie by the Golden Rule without expectations of a reward in that moment.

I can say I spread kindness and happiness around as a matter of habit.
I take a view this world is divine and we should treat everything in it with compassion.
We are a trustee of what we are given and should leave them for the future at least in the same condition we got them - siva
