I have an apricot cake in the oven. / myLot

María, my former maid, called today and announced a visit. She is coming for tea. Every time she invited me to her house there are lots of delicious things to eat. So now I looked at what could I have to treat her and I discovered some frozen apricots in the deep freezer. I made an apricot cake and it is now in the oven, baking. I hope it is good, there is a long time since I stopped baking. I cook delicious things for lunch or dinners. But sweet things stopped being my priorities since my husband started with diabetes, over 20 years ago. Do you bake often?

We often use our Microwave oven but rarely do baking as we do not have some utensils needed for baking. But we have still tried making Pizza.

I bake several times a week, I baked a calzone for lunch today. I should go down and bake some muffins for breakfast, but I am tired and lazy.

@marguicha I have just finished baking appetizers for dinner. This is our usual Saturday night dinner, many little things will end in the freezer, I made a lot.
