Christopher Robin (Winnie The Pooh)

Guys two days ago I watched Christopher Robin. It is the latest movie of Winnie The Pooh series. As a new member in here I would like to comment that this movie reminds me of how busy and sometimes unhappy we adults can be. I could not help dropping a tear while watching the movie, cause it really touched me inside. Now I wonder Have we all forgotten about our inner child and how happy we used to be back then?

Hey Jeigh You should definitely watch that movie. I didn't think it would be worth watching but wow I can see it twice. As the way I see it It is a movie to remind us how valuable our loved ones are, and never letting anything to be more important than them. I hope when you finished watching it you share your opinion with me, I would love to read other people's insights about the movie. Take care! :)

@Janet357 You're still young. I have heard that being in your thirties is the best age ever! I do not know yet, once i am thirty I will tell. LOL Please watch it, I have to say I really got sort of emotional when I watched it cause somehow the movie reminded me how happy and carefree I used to be, Now i am full grown up and I see things differently, and now it is all about me being in a hurry, buying food sluppies, paying bills, going to the gym, catching up with the global news, practicing on my English, and goes on. LOL

@sofssu It is so great that you're still connected to yout inner child, you are part of that bunch of wise people who cares about keeping your childhood alive, meanwhile there are others who forget they once were children and the positive sensation they used to feel back then, I think that's why Disney made this new movie to remind most grown ups of their inner child and bring it back every now and then!

Great choice Dianne! Same here. In fact, I can perceive that you're connected with your inner child when you talk and care about Doodles. That's how a child would care about them pets when they're not right.

@Courage7 same here! However it is up to us to remember the good memories and try to bring them back to our present so we could be inspired in life. That's what I do most times and it seems to work out!

You are right Stacey. I don't know if it happened to you when you were younger, but when I was younger I used to think that I wanted to grow up fast so I could do anything I want, however once I turned into a grown up I realize it is all about being on time for work, catching up with daily errands, and coming back early home to get everything done so I could go to bed quick and sleep a few more hours. :( Reality hits so hard Lol

@Shellyjane your comment makes me smile so big. I a greee with you, no matter how busy we are, there's a time when we need to go back and remember the great times we had as children and why not trying to bring that sensation back to our lives. That's what I do most of the times.

Wyomich, this new one is totally recommended! Actually when I downloaded I wasn't that keen about watching it. Once the story goes on, you realize that somehow we have unconciously let our inner child die, and that shouldn't happen! If you ever get the chance to see it hope you enjoy it! Thanks for being around!

Thanks for the recommendation for this movie. I think many of us forget what it was like as children as we squash our inner child and try to act like people expect us to act instead of how we want to act. It's a good reminder, we should let our inner child out to play on a regular basis.

Just saw this movie. It had a pretty sad theme throughout. I remember how easy it was to just play as a kid. Running around outside with my dog, playing with my stuffed animals or Barbies. But now, it seems like I've lost the ability to play...

@jvicentevalera My kids are good reminders. I often laugh at their antics and can see things afresh in their eyes. And I still enjoy watching some of the cartoons they enjoy (DinoTruxs, Justin Time, etc.). Reminds me of Matthew 18:2-4 where Jesus tells us to be like little children. I agree, we shouldn't let our inner child die!

@Genipher All you have said is just inspiring! you know? I am so happy that your children remind you the child you used to be and the happiness you felt back then! That makes me smile so big. I feel the same way when I am with my little niece and nephew, they teach me so much through every single thing they do and say. It is so contagious all the energy, happiness and lightheartedness they show!

Genipher I totally feel you. I know what it feels like cause at my twenties things aren't as i expected when I was younger lol. Life has taught me lots of things now, and growing up hurts a little, even when you loose people on the way. I used to play with my toys too, and watch cartoons after school, I was so carefree! If you don't mind I suggest you to take an hour of any day and remember all the good feelings you used to feel back when you were a child and try to bring them to the present, it might make you feel kind of good, couldn't it? Thank you for giving me your insight! Let's not let our inner child die!

Hey Debjani so cute your comment about your daughter having a Pooh as a teddy! Hope she's fine! In my opinion this new movie about Winnie The Pooh isn't in whole for children, actually I think it was made for adults lol. But who knows your daughter might like it. Give it a look and if you want to share with me your insight I will be here. thanks for leaving a comment!
