Today, I cooked a pretty simple Filipino dish. It's called Adobo sa Puti - stewed Pork in Vinegar in English. "Puti" actually means white color. Adobo can be cooked in different ways; its most popular version is with dark soy sauce and vinegar. I preferred to cook it without soy sauce today. The reason why it's called Adobo sa Puti it's because it looks pale without the soy sauce.
I was not able to take a snap of it. The photo that I found on google is the closest image to the one that I prepared today.

My sister-in-law cooks delicious Korean style spinach dish. She boils the spinach, rinses them in cold water. She puts lots of sesame oil with minced garlic. It's a yummy side dish.
How do you cook your spinach?

Your dish sounds good. I already mentioned the extremely hot pasta which seemed to have a jar of chilli in it I ate at the detention centre yesterday. It was something of an experience. This experience, while I enjoyed the pasta at the time, is not one I wish to repeat.

Hahahaha! Reminds me of the incident when my husband and I excitedly bought a pasta sauce that was on sale. I immediately cook spaghetti when we came back home. When I tried it, it was extremely spicy!
I added sugar, water, cheese, and more water but they didn't help. Unfortunately, the spaghetti went to the garbage can.

@Iam_jauntyjen the pasta I had will have been made from someone from a different country for sure. The residence of the detention centre can apply for a job to help them cook. They also have days when they can cook their own traditional meals but of course this is all ending now that the detention centres closing down. If the government really meant that people should not be in detention centres they would close the other detention centres as well as this one so none of us feel we have been told the truth. The fact is it is on prime land next to an industrial estate that is being built so I'm quite sure what's really going on is that they want the money for the land.

Now that sounds really good. Occasionally I get fed up of making pizza bases and what I do is I use oats and I mix them with oil just so they're covered and then press them down into a pan and put my pizza topping on top. With egg added it makes a quiche.
