It's How You Word It

I was preparing some pork steaks tonight and it just struck my funny. The wording on the package. I am weird like that. Just seeing stuff that strikes my funny bone.
So, when I saw the package read, "Butcher cut in store," it definitely caught my attention.
I posted the picture on FaceBook and said, "I hope he's all right."
Just a little bit of fun with words and the way things are said. But it made it SOUND like the butcher actually had an accident.

It's funny but I don't get why they say 20% more babies. We don't have that around here.

That is just so funny and you are right it is all in the wording. Many moons ago when I still live in NYC and was with my first husband we went on vacation to the Catskill Mountains. We stopped at a rest place and I went to wash my hands. In the restroom, I saw my initials RRA the reason being that the restroom was run by the company Rest Rooms of Albany. I had become a restroom no wonder my marriage failed.

Yes it does sound like that, wow! That is funny though (as long as no butcher actually got hurt!)

Yes that's a good one. One of the problems when lacking room for what you want to get across. Unfortunately, some of what gets across wasn't intended and could get someone in trouble. But they can be fun to find.

Wording things is very important as well as punctuation. That does sound like he injured himself.

Yes. Simple nuances in the way something is worded can greatly change the meaning, or the perception of the meaning. I mean, take this simple statement. Depending on how it is said, "I drove my car into the garage," could mean two different things. You either smashed your car into the garage, or parked it inside.

That is a play on words.
