As soon as I open mylot I read posts about cold weather and my boyfriend sent me a photo with a little snow on his backyard.
Actually I just woke up and day dreaming again.
Walking around the city with a cold breeze and have a hot chocolate after a long walk. Prepare a good dinner and cuddle with him.
I'm from a tropical country and once in my life I want to experience snow too.

it was a great experience... but like they always say, it is messy after the snow. I enjoyed the snow when I experienced it the first time.

Like what @LadyDuck said "Snow is fine if you do not need to go out to work or shopping."
I have been to a tropical country like the Philippines, the stores there or houses are a little bit too near each other, compared here in America, a convenience store is about 5 minute drive which is a 30 minute walk, going to the store and going back to your house, depending on how far or how near your house is.
Working to work and the snow is thick, can be dangerous.
Snow looks like a painting or a dream, but wait when it gets too cold that you would like to just really go back to a warm country.

@roseannvs, I like it when I don't need to go out to do important things outside, but it snows heavily, there will be a delay with the office where I need to go to and that is when I somehow don't like heavy snow.
I don't hate snow because I have been thinking that some parts of America hasn't had snow for quite awhile and drought is really bad. I am not really sure if drought was the cause of that deadly fire in California :-(
Where I am at, out Winter has been a little bit dry :-(
The air is too dry and cold at the same time that it causes nose bleed, unfortunately.
But like Shay loves Kay & Zayvi said,"I am in Ny when the blizzard is coming you can book a flight to my location. I will even meet you at the door. after a few snowballs you will want the heat on your hands."
You are very much welcome to come over and experience Winter :-)

@proseprity68 You are so right, if you need to travel the snow is dangerous and it's a pain. I have been blocked at the JFK airport so many times when we regularly traveled from Europe to United States. Everything is delayed if it heavily snows.

I've lived most of my life in Maine, United States, which means I've experienced a lot of snowy winters.
Therefore, I'd like to enjoy a winter in the south without any snow. So I feel the opposite of how you do, Rose.

Here is a taste of winter from Canada. Snow is pretty to look at when its freshly fallen, but too much of it at once can cause isolation.
Photo taken last March from my balcony.

I live in the United Kingdom in the part which is England. In my childhood I grew up in Kent which has the nickname The Garden of England. In the winter it did snow and I could have fun with my sister on a sledge. My friends and I could play snowballs. Then in 2005 I moved to the South West area of England. Here is it more mild and snow rarely comes. One year it came and that was unusual. Back in Kent I remember in 1991 it snowed deeply in March. That is meant to be our spring time later in March. I wasn't able to get to work. My boss wanted me to contact a farmer with a tractor. Yes, we were completely snowed in. I wished to take me and my children to a snowy place to play in the snow. So I bought a flight to Switzerland and a flight home from Northern Italy. We didn't have snow in the cities we had time in however we saw snow on the train journeys. At one time the train spent a while at a station covered in snow. We played a little with the snow by the door. My daughter will see snow when she goes on the school ski trip.

@roseannvs Yes, a lot of people find snow a hassle because it makes their home cold. In England central heating is used to warm us in the winter. Snow is hard to walk on and people need to go places like work, school or the shops to buy food. It can make public transport not work due to the snowfall. A few years ago my home phone wouldn't work for 2 months. This was due to snowfall in a different area.

I have a a suggestion. Why don't you go somewhere that has winter on vacation and then you can experience it.
