what do you crave when you have

what do you crave when you have a cough and a cold? i saw the bottle of homemade salsa in the fridge so i spread it on bread as my breakfast. i don't really like sour food, but they taste good when i have a cough and cold. drinking warm water also feels good than the room temperature tap water i usually drink. i guess bitter and spicy food might help, but i was never really fond of those tastes. but i know i wouldn't be able to resisit ice cream or cake, even with a cough and cold! (i have a cough, a cold, headache and body ache and have a hard time speaking, but still don't have a fever.)

I crave for spicy curry and food when I have cold and cough. The taste buds do not get taste of less spicy food. I also like hot soupy noodles and ginger tea when I have cold. They make me feel good.

I don't really have favourite foods when I have a cold. I'm rarely too sick for chocolate and ice-cream.

i guess the only time i will hold off on ice cream would be if i had swollen tonsils. i don't right now, but my voice is still hoarse.

@JudyEv i've read about that, but are you saying all kids have their tonsils removed back then?

@hereandthere When I was young it was the done thing for kids around 9 or 10 to have their tonsils removed. The only good part is that you were always given ice-cream after the operation except that for some reason I wasn't. As you can tell, I've never forgotten it!
