When the holiday season 2018 ends, it will be remembered as the season where Kid Rock and actor Tyler Perry have assisted everyday people by paying off the debts of customers who have purchases on layaway at store like Wal Mart. Kid Rock admitted he was inspired to assist around 350 people in Nashville Tennessee by paying $81,000 dollars at the Dickenson Pike Walmart which had purchases on layaway. Tyler Perry paid $430,000 at a Wal Mart store in Atlanta Georgia. Tyler insisted that paying the layaway bill in the Wal Mart store in Atlanta was done in secret and not to impress anybody. You make the call.

If words gets out who did it it's not really a 'secret,' but I still applaud these guys for what they are doing. They make their millions directly from the people, and if they can give a little back now and again I think that's a great gesture no matter the intent.

I think someone in Walmart told about Tyler Perry paying so he got the attention. I heard Kid Rock paid and thought there was someone else too. This is really nice of them. I'd like to see them sponsor foster kids for Christmas and those in shelters. We foster and buy them presents but they have sponsors to give them gifts as well. Some families foster and have a lot to buy for so those sponsors help a lot. Every year there are less sponsors. Some children are not placed yet or in shelters and some gifts and things they can call their own would make a huge difference in their worlds.

I am lukewarm towards Kid Rock since I would not any of his hit songs. However assisting other people in need will make him happier.

Even though some of us may not like their music, it helps people who do not agree with their line of work to admire them.
