My leaving gifts

These are the prezzies I was given last night on completing my final stint at the Kimberlin Library of De Montfort University.
They are a Jasper Conran leather-bound personal organizer, a Parker IM rollerball pen - and a 500-piece jigsaw! Clearly an envelope was going the rounds without my knowledge, and people were very generous.
Also on the photo you can see something I did not expect to get straightaway - my external library card that is available to former long-serving DMU staff members. This is a lifetime membership that grants access to the library at all times and limited borrowing rights.
I was under the impression that applying for one of these cards was quite a longwinded process. However, when I mentioned this to my colleague Cress she said "why don't we sort it out now?" and promptly did so!
Thanks, Cress!

@indexer Exactly. We need to make a lot of things simpler to get.

You can enjoy "civilian life" armed with your new library card.

What lovely gifts you've received and the library card will get a lot of use I'm sure. Do you usually do jigsaws?

I think your friend's opinion is very true, and what else makes you confused
