Does Facebook ever make you feel bad?

I realize that on FB, people try to show off their better sides . . . all is not how it may seem there. I actually have friends that have admitted to being envious of everyone on FB for being happy all the time and having such fantastic lives. That's sad. I only go there to see what's going on with friends and family too - and take everything else with a grain of salt .

Tell us, what happened on FaceBook that made you feel bad?

I enjoy Facebook when I have the time. I especially love keeping in touch with my real life friends and family.

Nope not since I unfriended most of the trouble making family, its mostly people I don`t know in real life. However I did have a couple of so called friends I got rid of too. Now its nice there.

I haven't figured out Facebook yet...I'll go there if someone I know has posted something important but otherwise I don't go there. It's too busy for one thing, I'm used to a more easy going not so busy way of life. Also it seems like everyone and their brother is on Facebook and it's more like an enormous phone book than a web site. I'm just not comfortable on Facebook.

I unfollow people who posts nasty things that upset me or if they are bad enough I unfriend them. I don't like all the drama at Facebook so I spend more time here at mylot instead!

I use Facebook the way you do. It is just to see pictures and communicate with friends and loved ines

I have no worries as I am not on Facebook.

I know a guy who left social media and facebook alone because it was causing him stress or something like that!! He said there were people on there with crazy political views and things!! I'm not on facebook long enough!! I Cant seem to get friends there!!

Yes sometimes it does. Like being harrassed on there by someone we know here. Had to block him.

I have a facebook account, but I hardly use it. Last time I uploaded a photo was in 2012 I write to my friends sometimes and wish them happy birthday, but that is it.

Mine is private and I only have those I know very well, mostly family and a few friends. I have a couple news pages that trolls show up but I just scan and go on by.

The only time Facebook made me truly upset is when a post that I make is really important and it doesn't get a lot of attention. And because Facebook has a stupid algorithm thing it hides so many posts if you are not constantly stalking that person or page.

I hate it when Facebook is full of toxic and overly dramatic people, people who make fun of other people, etc. I haven’t visited my personal Facebook account for almost a year now. i just use my business FB account for work-related purposes

Facebook always entertain me whenever I feel down, I watched funny and viral videos and its a great way of escaping the harsh of outside world. It also a way for me to express my feeling that I can't say personally.

There will be good and bad effects. Good thing is that FB allow us to share pur memorable moment to public or to specific person, communicate with each other, etc. Bad thing is that you will feel sad when your friends are posting a delicious food citing a place, then you will ask them why they did not invite you for the meal as well.
