If you can hit the forward button

If you can hit the forward button to make what you went through end or conclude, which event in your life would it be? There are just some moments in our life that we wish would proceed to the next faster than the way it is. I wish this current moment I am in to conclude or move to the next. I am getting impatient. So what is yours?

I do used to think like that too but the thing is that for every moment that you want to slow down, there are people who want the fast forward and vice versa

Indeed, depending on the situation. Mine calls for a forward switch. It is becoming a burden.

I wanted to end dealing with my evil relatives. That's all.

A part of me would like to be four months ahead as it will be warmer and some outstanding bills would be paid but the other part knows that time is passing so much quicker nowadays and it is not good to wish it pass even quicker. I am happy not to have a forward button.

@Beatburn Yes and if we went forward quicker than we should do then we might miss out on some interesting and happy events with no chance to go back and re-live them properly.

Indeed. We should be content with how things are turning out especially since we are the ones charting our own paths.

I guess people would prefer a rewind button than a forward one so as to correct mistakes and wrong decisions

There are great mistakes that I, sometimes, wish to correct but then again I wouldn't learn from them. I have some plans brewing and I'd like to quicken the process so they materialize.

When I had Open Heart Surgery, I sure wish that I would have been able to push a Forward Button to make the pain go away.

Never, ever wish a moment of your life away--all the good AND bad make you what you are today and if it isn't good now the pain you are going through will make it better tomorrow!

I agree. Looking back, I see how the whole experience taught me. To be patient.

Time seems to be passing too quickly for me already, BB... I can't afford to wish any of it away.

Sadly we can't stay like this. We age.
