As the rain falls from the sky I begin to look at the tears shed from my heart. I begin to stop listening to the fear and go for what I've wanted from the start. That beautiful soul with the smile that warms the coldest heart. With eyes so big and beautiful, they show me the clearest picture of God's art. The smartest person I know, but with the biggest heart a soul could hold. Makes me smile the biggest smile when my hands feel a grip that it just can't hold. When my world is falling apart she knows where every piece fits together. We were both lost in the world but then she blew through my path like a lost feather. We didn't know what we were getting ourselves into but we don't care how the world taunts. We never once left each other's side, because the heart wants what it wants. Yes she's my princess, but deep in my heart she's something much more unique. When we hug our hearts hold hands and create a heartbeat in sync. Since day one there was a connection, it hit me faster than I could blink. I just wanted to tell you I love you before my world starts to sink. My towers fall, and my sky starts to crumble. My breath drops and my world pitches black, and the thunder starts to rumble. I'm pouring my heart out, my chest is wide open. My soul is leaving my body with every word that's spoken. She took my black roses and turned my carnations green. Two souls lit by one touch, since day one it's been so serene. A love that's bulletproof, forever strong, never gone. She's stuck in my mind, dark to night, dusk to dawn.
