What are your weekends like?

My weekend actually started yesterday (Friday) because I'm lucky enough to work a 4 day work week.
So yesterday I got up a bit early, made a cup of coffee, and started reading the new online while I waited for my coffee to finish. Once I finished my coffee I finished getting dressed and headed to the gym for a bit. That was followed by coming home and getting cleaned up so that my wife and I could run some errands. A couple hours later we got home and put the groceries away. Time to relax and settled in to watch the Hallmark channel.
Today (Saturday) I'm up and enjoying my cup of coffee while posting this. The gym will follow but I don't know what the rest of today's agenda is yet.
I hope you're enjoying your weekend also.

Gee it sounds like you need to come my way. We could drink coffee and have some fun and laugh a lot...especially if you pitch in and help with the teddy bears. My days for relaxing are the days we go to town to do our errands like on Monday.

I work a 4 1/2 day week (I work half days on Fridays), so I get a little bit of an extra jump on my weekends. I usually use Friday afternoon as my time to run all my errands and get all my chores done so I can enjoy Saturdays and Sundays without any worry.
During the fall, I tailgate and go to college football games on Saturdays. In the cooler months, my son and I do a lot of camping. And over the past year, I have spent a good many of my weekends in training and practice with my paintball team. Lately I have been training with a pro team and getting coached by pro players, in the hopes that I can go pro in 2019.

@Beaser I live right by the University of Florida, where I also went to college at, and I am a season ticket holder, so I go to all their home football games. We have a really big tailgate we set up near the stadium.
Yeah, paintball is becoming a huge sport now. I just returned from the 2018 World Cup, and we had over 600 teams from around the world participate.

@moffittjc Oh no, a Gator!
I grew up in Miami so it kind of goes without saying I'm a Miami Hurricane fan. Please don't hold that against me though. I used to enjoy the yearly match-up between the Florida teams but it got to be where we were beating each other up and didn't help anyone win the National Championship. Normally I'm good if a Florida team wins the Championship but my preference would be Miami, Florida, and then Florida State.
Good luck to the Gators in their bowl game this year.

@moffittjc Sounds pretty good Jeff. I didn't realize paint ball had gotten that big but I can see the attraction. Good luck with going Pro.
Tailgating at a college game can be a lot of fun. I haven't been in a while so maybe I'll have to give it a shot.

Today (Saturday) I'll be watching the University of Maine Black Bears football playoff game this afternoon (or at least part of it).
Then tomorrow I'll watch the New England Patriots battle it out with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Sounds like a football fan but boooo Patriots. Just kidding! They have a really good organization and have been a contender for many years. With me being a Dolphin fan it's difficult to root for the Patriots during the season.

The main thing that is different in my weekend is the television. The different channels I watch on the dish run different things, like FETV runs The Lone Ranger today and one of the other channels runs M*A*S*H. Other than that I work on making my teddy bears. I have a Christmas order to finish up and hopefully have it ready to deliver on Monday. Otherwise it will be delivered on Thursday. I'm also getting over the nasty cold I caught and am being a bit slow on getting going each morning. Other than that I'm a lot like @JohnRoberts and every day is pretty much the same...well at least during the week when there aren't people in.

@Beaser I occasionally watch "Bewitched" but not too often..Bill is into Barney Miller and we tune into it week nights at 10 p.m. and then it's off to bed. I don't go in much for unsolved mysteries I figure that's what the experts are for....plus I tend to get very upset at the dimwits that can't figure out the easy things for themselves. It always makes me wonder how they manage to go to the bathroom alone!

@BearArtistLady Those are two TV shows that I could enjoy!
The Lone Ranger from when I was a kid and M*A*S*H from when I was older. I don't think I could ever get tired of them.

@BearArtistLady I can totally understand. My wife has the TV on constantly during the day and she's into Leave it to Beaver, Perry Mason, and any other "older" TV shows. She does watch some 48 Hrs also - I guess she's into trying to solve all those outstanding cases.

@yoalldudes Any kind of shopping this time of year can be interesting. Sometimes I like to go to the mall and just walk around and people watch. Maybe stop by Starbucks to grab a cup of coffee and find a seat somewhere. Good luck and I hope you get everything done.

@Beaser Yes it is fun to watch people too. I even wonder if I can take pictures. Some have really good fashion taste and I want to get ideas lol

@yoalldudes Taking pictures might but not posting them anywhere probably wouldn't be bad. It wouldn't be like you were "shaming" them or anything.

I work for 6 days a week. On weekends, after completing my chores, I visit my in-laws & spend time with them.

this weekend I did some last minute Christmas shopping, worked on some graphic design ideas, and spent time with friends. your morning coffee sounds delicious, and I also love watching hallmark movies this time of year. they're fun and a little cheesy but they always get me in a Christmas mood
