A call made my day today. I was applying for UK and the agency called me to inform me I’m scheduled for an interview on the 8th of January.
I used to dread intetviews but now I can wait for one. I guess being unemployed is making me desperate and I’m actually excited to have the interview ASAP.
It will be a Skype interview. I hope I do well. How are you today guys? Any good news?

@flapiz Yes, that's right so, while you're still enjoy Christmas with your family. It's been 3 Christmases already that our two daughters have not come home (especially this year because they have just moved in to a new house last Dec.6).

I wish you the best of luck on your interview! One of the tricks of interviewing that has always helped me to be confident and relaxed was to go into the interview with the mindset that I already got the job, and the interview is just a formality. When you think like that (that you already have the job even before the interview starts) it takes a lot of pressure off of you and allows you to relax and focus on giving the best answers. I know you'll do great in the interview, I have lots of faith in you!

@moffittjc For sure and in Australia they don’t really call you to sit an interview if they aren’t hiring you.

@flapiz I hire around 90-100 people every year at work. I will bring in 2-3 people to interview for each position, so if the person gets invited to an interview, there's a pretty good chance I am interested in hiring them!

@flapiz It would be better if you start doing practice or rehearsal for the interview.

Why dread anything??? The Four Toltec Agreements will tell you not to take anything seriously or personally...
