This quote is another take on the famous line that goes, "Good things come to those who wait." Many people today forget what hard work is, or what patience means. People tend to think that good things could be rushed. They resort to faulty and corrupted ways to speed up the process. They want instant results and fail to realize that to produce something of value, it takes time. In this day and age, we as former generations, should not let frailty standards get the best out of the children of today's generation. Parents, teachers, mentors, coaches, and people who preach have this bigger role in instilling values of patience and perseverance in the minds of the young and uplift their spirits to be responsible beings for their own sake. @casp_24 When I moved to Israel one of the first ones they taught us was patience. Yes, we do want things right away and we are not patient and do not want to wait. I know things do not always happen that way.

Yes, and sometimes, we can try and be resourceful, but when nothing works, we have to wait. Sometimes, some things have their own timing. And we have to accept that.

That's true, that's why I pity some people who think that they could be rich or famous, or be whatever they want to be, by doing shortcuts. Most shortcuts are not thought through that's why they fail. Look at the biggies, Steve Jobs and Bill Gates. Surely they had a lot of patience and diligence with them.

Very nice quote Camille. This is exactly what I'm trying to remind of myself. Because I have this tendency of getting frustrated easily. But because of reading some positive quotes like this or hearing some good advices from others, it motivates me and helps me a lot in pursuing my goals. I like it! Patience! but nowadays it seems that many people just don't have it. I also like the quote: "when things go wrong, don't go with them" by Elvis Presley. simple and makes me smile. have a good day.

Nice one! I like Elvis Presley, my... I watch his movies and love his songs too. His song "Can't help Falling in Love" has a line that goes, "Wise men say only fools rush in." It has the same meaning to the quote I've shared.
