Death By Coffee

The coffee cup sat on the table. Coffee inside of it was hot, you could see the steam coming from it. But there was no one around. Strange. The cup started to shake and a little bit of coffee spilled. Maybe it was a tremor. Maybe not. Then, the cup started to turn around, all by itself. Is this starting to sound off the wall? I think it is. At a glance you could now see the coffee spilling upwards out of the cup. But it was sitting there right side up on the table. I don't know where this is going, but I will continue to write it. The table started to walk across the floor. The coffee cup was not levitating in mid-air. As the table started to walk, the chairs followed. Then the water faucet turned on and the water was running at full blast. On the other side of the room, the refrigerator door opened. The milk came out and levitated over to the coffee cup. And poured some into it. Then went back and the door closed. The draw with the utensils opened and a spoon came flying out. It landed right inside the cup and started to stir. It seemed very animated I must say. It was almost like those documentaries that use frame by frame animation. Kind of odd. But this was happening in real time. No noise was heard, everything was silent. Now, keep in mind, this was all happening while the owner of the house was sleeping. It seems that the coffee made itself and then made a cup of coffee. Why the table and chairs were walking around is beyond me. The mind is a terrible thing, or is it? Either way, this is something that should never happen, at least we think so. But it did. The owner woke up and went to the bathroom. When he came out, he went into the kitchen. He saw the coffee sitting on the table and though that his wife had gotten up and made him a nice piping hot cup of coffee. But he then realized that she was still sleeping in bed. He scratched his head wondering for a moment. Then sat down and had his coffee. It wasn't until the coffee took the edge off of his sleep that he started to freak out. He was having a panic attack. A severe one. He started making choking noises and he was running around the kitchen until he stopped suddenly and dropped to the floor. He was dead, stone cold dead. At that moment his wife got up and went right into the kitchen. She saw him on the floor and then looked at the coffee cup that was still on the table. She turned her head slowly with this evil grin on her face. She was thinking to herself, "it's amazing how the mind is so powerful." You see, what really happened here was the man’s wife had killed him in her sleep. She was dreaming of killing him, she did want him dead. She was having an affair with his best friend and wanted him out of the way. What killed him was imaginary poison. Can you imagine that? She dreamed the whole thing and dreamed that the poison was already in the cup. I do have to say that this came from one sick mind, if I must say so. And that mind was mine.
