As cloud and mobile computing technology rapidly advances, so does the expectations of consumers and employees; while most are excited about the possibilities, is anyone asking if we're better off without a high-tech world? Just a 100 years ago, most of us were farmers.

Innovation has become a vital part of our existence so as innovation and advancement in technology. I don't think we are better off without technology because we need to adapt to the change in our environment..

@RobbieLowdown0 we just need to slowly learn it until it sinks into us. You are right it involves force which may put pressure on other people.

Yeah, yet should we always adapt or is there room for staying the same, required adaptation seems to involve force. This force is pressure to conform now, yet in the future it may be required.

I still think that there are still more advantages to have the hi-tech in our world. It makes everything easily and conveniently. Actually we can't live without it today. We count on the computer and internet so much already. Try to imagine the flights, stock markets, traffic etc. will be in a mess when the connection is out of work.

That online technology is useful is the exact reason why it's dangerous, it's so useful it's changing who we are sociologically, for the negative in my opinion, overall.

Sometimes, I feel like I wish I were born during the time of my grandparents or my parents. Those times where they don't have any idea about bacterias and pollutions in our town. There were crystal clear water, few houses, many farms and fresh air.

Sounds like good times, I think peoples of yesteryear had peaceful lives, for the most part, and were better off overall with their quaint lives in their paradises on earth. Of course, there are many exceptions, yet overall...
