people who are generous or do everything for others without a response. Their altruistic nature always wants to contribute in any way, be it money, material or emotional. If your friend has this virtue, you will find that they will never stop caring about others' interests.

I am a generous person, but not as much as others, Let's just say I have my limits. I do know who is a generous person no matter what and that person is my mom, she would give up her piece of bread to give it to somebody else, sometimes I disagree with her, but at the end of the day the teaches me so much by doing such thing. Don't know what to think!

@theend Yeah thanks, however sometimes I am bothered by it cause most times she is way too good to people who are mean to others. It is like she doesn't judge by whom she is helping. My mom is absolutely a great one. I love her no matter what, in fact if she did not help people, I would suspect that's not my mom. lol.

I think the person that will be generous to help each other will be our parents and family members.
They know about each other and the bond among each other are stronger. There is a saying by Vernon Baker that "home is where the heart can laugh without shyness. Home is where the heart's tears can dry at their own pace".
Next will be the true friends around us but it may hard to get friends that willing to sacrifice their time, money to assist you voluntarily. We should appreciate this kind of people that make our life a better one.

@theend Yes. We all include our members in our prayers in order to pass alot of good fortune to them so that our prayers can help the members prosper. This is what we do when someone in pur organization is in need of prayers.

@Swayamsiddha It is interesting to learn about Buddhist culture, they are the ones who spread good things to humanity.

I tend to like to think I am. When I can I try to visit older posts. I also tend to hang around for quite a while on people's posts going back and forth with them. I don't do it for accolades. I don't do it to entice more people to visit my own posts. I just do it because it is part of what makes it fun for me here. IF it translates into a little bit more money in the end, you will hear no complaints from me.

@theend One thing that always sticks in my mind here is that we call these discussions. But a discussion to me is not a hi and bye. It's more than that. It's a conversation. Many times by the time I finally leave a post, the direction of the discussion is completely different from what generated it. But that's how conversations in real life work as well.

I think I am as much as possible but there are times that I do not have anything to share so I just hit like and leave no comment.
