How Time Does Fly

Hi all, I hope you had a good week. I have been very busy with school and writing. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I have been working to revive my HubPages presence. I currently have 3 serialized novels I am posting installments to and am considering adding a 4th. These are all manuscripts I have - both finished and unfinished - that do not fit well into either the River Dream series or the Buzby Beach series through all but one does take place in that universe. Gearing back up for school after the holiday break has also taken its share of time. I still can't believe our first semester ends on Monday. May will be here before we know it and I'll be saying goodbye to this group of kids. How has your New Year been so far? I hope it has been going well.

My new year has been relaxing. Subbing in a very difficult class this week. Trying to force myself to not stress about that today!

@thislittlepennyearns I've been well, but busy. Trying to keep up with school, getting my HubPages posts up to critical mass, and working on 2 or three book ideas. But it's all good. It keeps me out of trouble.

@TheHorse Science covers basic magnetism and electricity, discussions of matter, some energy transference, geology and the rock cycle, minerals and gems, plant cells, conservation, as well as some things on landforms, bodies of water, earthquakes, and volcanoes. Math runs the gamut from addition with regrouping through multiplying and dividing fractions and mixed numbers, a good bit of geometry with area and perimeter, lots of word problems, place value, and decimals.

My new year is going great. It sounds like you are very busy. When I was still teaching I used to try to write also and ended up always working at one of the other. It is a tiring thing to try to do both but actually live a life.

Yes, it has been well. I would like to balance my time, not to devote all of it to my work. That is why I did not bring my work here in our house so I can do those things that I love.

We started back to school on Wednesday. We weren't supposed to go back until Thursday but used Wednesday as a makeup day for one of the days we missed due to the hurricane.
