Poll: Frozen Yogurt for dogs?

United States
January 7, 2019 6:01pm CST
Free frozen yogurt treat for dogs today at a local yogurt shop. It's a dish of regular frozen yogurt with a dog bone on top! LOL! That's one way to bring in the business when it's cold outside. My son is taking his dog there and buying himself a serving. None for me thank you. I love it but not melty and it's sure to partially melt bringing it here. I think it's a fun promotion...do you?

Interesting idea, though I do wonder if the dog actually enjoys the frozen texture of the treat

It's hard to know when they can't tell you.

@Jeanniemaries SO true there. Maybe they'd say "give me a not frozen treat" lol

It's ok for dogs to have, but my son always gives him vanilla

It surely is a fun promotion. I also like it, but not melty.

That's a great idea. I didn't know dogs ate yoghurt. I presume it's all for the dogs or maybe just the bone is.

@Jeanniemaries How cute is that. I know horses that love ice-cream - and fairy floss (candy ???) I can't remember what you can it. Something candy or candy something - it's spun sugar.

I think Stout likes both. He eats his dish of regular ice cream with relish without a bone added. He always gets ice cream on his birthday.

I just had Froyo yesterday. Strawberry Cheesecake, yum! I don't know, if your son gets it to go, he probably would have it back in time before it melted. I've had people bring me froyo's before (8 or so minute there, 8 or so minutes back) and they weren't thawed at all.

I didn't get one sadly, but If I had to bring one home it would be easy to pop it in the freezer for a bit to firm it up.

@Jeanniemaries This is true. I am weird. I don't like my frozen yogurts to be overly firm.

Is yogurt good for dogs? It's interesting, but I wouldn't take part in the promotion if I had a dog.
