Do you ever feel that no matter how you try and avoid it, you keep stepping in the same traps as your parents. It feels like I'm making exactly the same mistakes as my mother. I tried so hard to not make the same mustakes, but somehow BOOM! Im exactly where she was. I thought that it might be a generaatiinal curse thing, but dont know if it is a real thing.

I am sorry to hear that you don't feel like that is a good thing. I would have been proud to follow in my mom's footsteps. She was such a great role model for me.

@Pixilove Moms always want is best for their children and better then themselves. I am sure she would not be disappointed. Life doesnt always go and we plan it to. It does not make us failures. I am sorry you are going through whatever it is that you are.

I am very proud of my Mom and all she managed to do. I just feel like she would be disappointed if she saw where I am today as she always wanted me to go further in life and not repeat her mistakes. To have a nice house, a good job and a successful marriage. I tried so hard to not fall inti these traps.

Sound like not a good news. I think it is a "No" and maybe "Yes" at the same time. If there's an answer like that or maybe I'm just in between. "No" because for sure we thread our own story, we have our own decision but "Yes" because in the name of fate, we cannot control fate.

@Pixilove There are still a lot of pages of life to be written, my friend. I know in time you will make a difference.
