carrying darbai grass on board

tomorrow my son is flying to Oman . i dont know whether he can carry darbai grass ( a sacred grass used to perform rites for the departed soul) , vermillon and sri churnam and namam chalk, ( used to put in forehead while performing a ritual ) on board. If anyone is having any idea, pl suggest me

The best is that he consult an official site, or ask to the Consulate, just to be sure.

why does he need to bring them? do they have a special container? maybe just make sure they're sealed tightly and labeled completely

while performing the monthly rituals for his dad, which is called Tharpanam in Hindu, Brahmin, religion, he should apply our religious symbol on his forehead and chant manthras and offer water and sesame seeds to the departed soul which is compulsory in our caste.
