@CarolDM It makes them very easy too. I am thinking about buying almond flour to make my own biscuits after I use what is in the fridge.

@CarolDM I finally got the hang of it when I could buy ready made thin pastry strips. It takes several hours to make, but it's yummy. A little country barbeque restaurant down the road from us makes it on Thursdays. It's close enough to mine that I love not having to spend all that time making it myself!

@1creekgirl We are trying to find the thicker dumplings recipe, I even tried biscuit dough, I have not given up yet.

@CarolDM I think my mother in law in Arkansas used to use pinches of canned biscuits for her dumplings, but here we use the think, flat, rolled out strips of dough.

@CarolDM Not many people have. It took most of my childhood to figure out I was allergic to chicken. I got sick on it every time I ate it, but for some reason my parents equated my being sick with motion sickness as I always got sick on the way home from Grandma's when she served a delicious chicken dinner of some kind. Even her homemade chicken noodle soup was delicious. But then, everything Grandma made was delicious.

Sorry to hear that, I have never hard of anyone being allergic.
