Oscar winning director Satyajit Ray made film "Sonar Kella" based on the Golden Fortress in Jaisalmer in Rajasthan. The watch towers of Golden Fortress looks beautiful. There is a city inside the Fort. It is located on desert sands.

Recently my sister had gone to Jaisalmer. The trip was full of lovely memories and one of the memories consisted of this fort that you have mentioned in this picture
