The lights are flickering here. I am charging up my devices. Oh, wait, the only one that will work will be my phone if the power goes out, cause the others have to have wi fi. It was a nice thought while it lasted. We will at least have the phones charged up. We have lots of food, even some that does not require heating. We can light the burners on the gas stove if needed, and we have gas furnaces. I guess we will be okay. The rain that fell all day has now become snow. And we have wind. Glad I met my friend for coffee today.

I usually charge my laptops, before power goes out to have them to play music on. im glad you're charging your phones though in case you need to use them.

Yes, that way, if the power went out we could contact the power company.

I charged our phones and my Kindle (so I can read), but if our power goes out, we currently have below zero temps, so we will have a much bigger problem on our hands!

@GardenGerty We do not! My brothers are near by..they would come with a generator for the heat if needed, but that will be all... Hoping for no power outage this weekend!

Yes. I know Bob's sis in New Hampshire is all electric, but does have a fireplace and wood stored inside in her basement.

Stay safe, be careful going outside, there may be ice under that snow.

There IS ice under it. I just watched a kid spin his truck. So far the farthest I have ventured out is to feed the birds, cause they were all here looking.

It sounds like you will be all set. Those without electricity can charge their phones in the car.

We have a gas stove but the automatic lighting bit is electric. Still - it is easy to light the burners with a match and then we're cooking with gas - so to speak!
