We are in a deep freeze here.I mean deep.
Temp.now is zero.Wind chill -15 below .
Mike is cleaning off my car.Which is a help.
To fight off boredom.I made Jonny bread.Not package.Scratch.lol
We can have this for breakfast or dessert.
For dessert we have the bread, overflowing strawberries and whipped cream.
This makes a great dessert.Try it.

Its around 25-30 degrees now, way down here in Alabama. Love that song, my brothers name is Jimmy and we always sang that to him, I don`t recall him liking the song.

We had a low of 50 last night and will have a high of 70 today. Up north it was very frigid at 6 at night and the teens as a high today, but not as cold as you. I hope you get the warmer temps that will come tomorrow and thaw out!
I've made Jonny bread many times. It is delicious served with fruit and whipped cream. Enjoy it and stay warm.

Yeah, it's cold here, too... -12°C at the moment, supposed to get up to -9°... whoo hoo. And just like last year, the big bad snow plow heaped 2 feet of hard packed snow on the sidewalk in front of my house. I went out to clear my steps and carve a tunnel to the street... maybe 10 minutes and I was already starting to feel frostbite on my fingers and under my chin.

It is 1 PM in Fort Lauderdale--IT IS 63 DEGREES IN FORT LAUDERDALE!! ARGH!! Keep the cold weather up north where it belongs!!

I made spoonbread to go with our dinner last night. I wish I had taken a picture because it was gorgeous and golden brown with a lightly split top (like a pound cake). Your Jonnycake would have gone over well too!
