This morning I could tell he needed out of here, even f he did not know it. But, I was online doing research for my book and when I checked on him he was asleep so I grabbed my loppers and went outside, sunny and 45 degrees, let the dogs out and went to work, well we walked a couple laps around the new water holes.
Within an hour Tony was at the back door saying "I thought we were going somewhere."
I came inside, brushed my teeth and hair, changed clothes and took off.
Since he is sick he sits in the car but still its better than staying home 24/7.
I dropped off the books at the library grabbed 2 more. I drove to another town, close but we don`t go there often, I went to the dollar tree and CVS.
I drove the long way back to Oxford, drove through an into Anniston. I checked the P.O.Box and took the regular back roads heading home, but we spotted bales of hay and Tony told me to stop and buy one for the dogs, I got two, $5.99 each, I am not sure if that is to much or not. But the guy loading it was about to freak out that I was putting it into the Kia, I had a blanket to cover everything.
I rode around the old neighborhood and checked on all the houses, I stopped at the old home place and went in for a minute, when I came out I seen there was a dead cat in the yard. Not far from the ditch, I knew if I did not get it moved it would be a stink and rot in a day or so. I had nothing so I got a small branch and used it to move the cat to the ditch. I wished I would have had a shovel to bury it. This makes 2 cats we have seen dead and I know its those stray dogs.
At home I toted those heavy bales, one all the way around the house to the dog house an one on the garage. The dogs were happy to see me putting something in their house, when I finished I told Roscoe, go on in and try it. He runs in and comes back out, still waging his rail.
I did not get any writing accomplished today.
How was your day?

@andriaperry Ah. Well, you are a real champ for what you do to help him. Does he have any chance of getting better? I hate to ask. But I just wonder if he can ever get better or if this is pretty much it? I hope I am not being insensitive.

@andriaperry Do you mean painting as in art work? If so, could he use or pastels instead?

Yes it is, while I have online work and outside walking and outside working he`s not able to do nothing but watch t.v. He had to stop painting, the light fumes were getting to him.

It sounds like you got a lot done and at least Tony got out of the house for a little bit.

I think bales this time of year, or around here, are $4. It is good to get out and see things, even if you are in the car. I hope it made Tony happy.

Glad you were able to take him out for a bit. My day was super productive - worked 10, did some laundry, cleaning, meal prep, organizing, exercised....almost felt like too much. Hope you have a great rest of your day! And PS, I do feel like if you did RESEARCH on your book, that counts as working on it!

Yes they make round circles next to each other, with the straw up all around each.

It was a pretty dull day, but I guess that's not too bad. Better a boring and quiet day than a drama filled one!
