Time with my son / myLot

On Saturday I got to go and hang out with my son and have lunch. We hung out for about an hour or so at his house and then went and go lunch, nothing to special about lunch. We went to a local hotdog place and just had a casual lunch. Maybe were just down to earth like that or maybe we have no taste in food LOL. We just like it and had nice conversation while eating. We talked about work, life, politics and how we have to get together more often. I enjoyed it very much and glad we got the time together. The weather was very cold but it wasn't snowing so the drive was fine. Hope you all had a good weekend.

nothing better then good old family time :) I got to do that with a cousin of mine that I hadn't seen in 26 years we spent almost the whole afternoon on sunday it was amazing :)

@Bensen32 yes it was very nice and I am so glad i decided to go and visit with him and catch up:) he is only in the city for the rest of this week and hope to see him again on the weekend before he goes

Sounds like a perfect time to just chat about whats going on in each of your lives! I used to do that with the kids when they were younger. I would make a pot of herbal tea and then we would just sit and talk... :) If they had a problem, it usually came out over our cups of tea!!

that sounds like a great time. I like just sitting with the kids and talking, of course all of mine are now in their 20's

It's great that you and your son enjoyed a casual lunch together on Saturday.

I really enjoy spending time with my adult kids too. I got to see both of mine and their families last night. It was fun! We ate together at my daughter's house and played Boggle. My grandkids love to play together too. Everyone is busy with work and family, so those get-togethers are rare.
