If so what language and how long and what made you want to start learning it? Do you ever plan on visiting the country that speaks the language?
----
For me I've been on and off at attempting to studying Japanese for about 8 years!
Originally it was due to Video games because I was really into video games and just thought it be cool to get Japanese games before their release in English, but then I gave up for a few years, and wasn't a big gamer anymore.
In that few years I got into anime/manga and then that became new motivation to learn.
But now I don't watch anime all that often, so now I'm just attempting to learn just because I want to finish what I started. Ahahaha (For me finish means, being able to read things comfortably without needing the dictionary much.)
If I ever get any good at it I plan to learn Spanish, German, Korean or Chinese. :D

@CarrotBunny It means 'I'm sorry, I don't speak Spanish'. I have been considering taking up the study of the Spanish language again

I understood the 'No hablo Espanol' part, so you know more then me at least!~ 8D *laughs*
I started studying it too, like 2 years ago but stopped after a few weeks. xD; (decided I didn't want to start self-studying another language.)
But whenever I feel like starting it up again my one friend said she'd help teach me. xD

@ThreeTeddies Oh okay thanks for finishing it! :D
Supposively it's pretty good for your brain to study a new language, so guess it couldn't hurt to attempt again when you feel like it.

@carrotbunny I'm recovering my French - going back there for a while in May. And my English needs cleaned up a bit because there's not a lot of people here I can talk Irish with.

It's starting to seem like English and French are pretty commonly learned together!
Hope you have a good time on your trip! :D
Yeah probably not, but hey your English seems fine to me too, but guess it is the sort of thing, if you don't use it enough you lose it.

@CarrotBunny
When I came to live here in Israel I took Hebrew and continued learning it. I continue to learn new words constantly. I live here so I need to use it.

Really, what's your native language then? o:
Would've never guessed you were studying English! From what I saw you seemed like a native speaker!

I've taken a few basic Japanese classes, but I've been on and off with it. Same as you, I took that for anime, manga, and games. I've also tried out Italian, German, Korean, and Russian, and now know a few basic words/expressions, but that's about it.
