starting my part time tomorrow

Well, i am very nervous since he/she will be my first student(I'll be teaching English) and the topic will be free conversation. I am not a very good at small talk, so i may run out of things to say Any tips? I may start with the weather and hobbies,i hope our hobbies at least match.
