We have a winter weather advisory until 6 tonight. We have a wind chill advisory from 6 tonight to noon on Thursday. Wind chills are predicted between -30 to -50. The weatherman said it is the coldest wind chill on record. It's supposed to be -28 wind chill tonight.
I've already brushed off the car. It's light snow so it didn't take a lot of time. The wind chill is only -12 right now and didn't feel too bad. Which is good because I have it warming up right now as I need to get gas. I'm pushing a quarter of a tank and I don't want to get it when the temps are even colder out there.
I need to be out of the lot today for a few hours while they plow. A lot of cars are already off the lot. The only thing I'm worried about is the icy roads. So, travel will be slow.
I don't know how much I will be here today, but I'll be here when I can.

@marlina I sent an e-mail to my pool friend advising her I would be back when the cold snap ended - tomorrow, hopefully. I got a reply that if the schools are closed, so is the Y. Good to know, as I didn't know that little fact.

brrr, chill! i hope ya remained safe whilst out 'n made 't home alright. i'm thankful we didn't get that bitter cold, but could'a used some 'f that snow.

@just4him brrrrr chilly! we've 'd that here'n the high plains, most unpleasant :( 'f course, i resided'n alaska fer a couple years 'n 've been through worse, but way more prepared 's that used to be the 'norm' there durin' winter. stay warm 'n safe!

@crazyhorseladycx Now, I'm envious. I would love to live in Alaska. I'm sure it's worse there in winter, but they're prepared for it.
