What is on my mind

February 2, 2019 10:14am CST
I am often asked by facebook what is on my mind I swear if I told them half the things I would be banned One thing I think about why do they have gay pride what is do damn special that it needs to be celebrated Now don't get me wrong I have nothing against people that are gay I really don't I mean you can't help who you fall in love with can you. But have you ever thought why they might get so much stigma is because they like to dress up in rainbow colours and flaunt the fact they are different. Why don't we have a disabled pride a mothers pride and so many others because it is not flaunted now yes you want to celebrate being different but in doing so you set yourself up for all the stigma that comes with it then complain about it. So in all honesty I think no matter if you straight gay bi or unicorn you should just live the life you want you don't need to flaunt it. Sorry if I offend anyone not my intention like I say I have nothing against who you choose to love

I feel like there needs to be a Pride march because there will always be individuals or groups in society who oppose people being gay. Unless LGBTQ people keep standing up and saying "I'm gay and proud" and "it's okay to be gay in this society" I think these people or groups who oppose being gay may think it's okay to stigmatise and be prejudiced against. Not everyone dresses up in rainbow colours on Pride day, but the rainbow is just the symbol which unites everyone.

I know not everyone dresses up but a lot do, and it is ok to be gay but I don't think they would be pulled down for it if they just lived like straight people so what if your a man and want to love a man do if what makes people get at the gays is all the attention they get from. Pride they don't need it. They just need to love there life x

@helcamp1 I see what you mean but I think it means different things to different people. It's just a fun day too.

I fully agree with you. Why not a "normal people pride"? I cannot understand those celebrations, we are as nature created us, but I see no reason to have a "gay pride".

Yes. Our decisions are ours. Nobody has the right to change it.
