MyLot Exclusive #129 I'm really busy having the best day ever. Which makes it just like every other day. With one small exception. It's also my birthday, so there's cake, too. That doesn't happen every day. It should but it doesn't ((God, if You're listening, can you fix that, please? Thanks)). But I am taking a brief break from all the fun and frivolity (There will probably be a future post on them) to make an important announcement: Up until today, I thought that the GOP exclusively used It Wasn't Me (Link below, if you've never heard it or have and want to hear it again) as their theme song. But now, the Democrats are getting in on the act. My friend Ralf (Ralph Northam, not Ralph Kramden---He's a bus driver in New York while the other Ralf is a governor) is now using the "It Wasn't Me" Defense. Just like in the song. Just like my Republican friends such as Donny and Mike. Et al. Despite photographic proof to the contrary plus previous admissions of guilt. Will it work for Ralf? Or will it blow up in his face? He hasn't resigned yet, so maybe. It's a still-developing story, so things may change. Personally, for what it's worth, I think he still had a chance before he said, "It wasn't me." Americans habitually forgive really terrible things and they may have forgiven him. But now? He's even a bit scuzzier than he was before and it's even more obvious that he needs to go---And Americans are the most unfogiving when it comes to coverups. If I were betting on this, I'd put my money on Resignation. Probably by Monday.
