I carry a big purse, it seems to be necessary, because I have to have this and that for this kid and that one. Seems like it just all needs to be in my purse.I have been missing my camera for about 5 days. The strap just broke on my purse and I had to get another one. So when I cleaned out my old purse to move to contents to the new one, guess what I found....my camera!
The kids are always saying things like, where is this or that, did you check mom's purse?
She can fit a small child in there. I probably could, but they should not say that! Most the stuff is for them, I just need my wallet really.
Do you carry a small purse, big purse, no purse?
I was looking for a photo and came across this really creepy one from pixabay of an eyeball in a purse. It is just to creepy!

My purse is also big! Lol. My husband always says you have everything but the kitchen sink in there. Its true but like you, I would rather have everything that might be needed. =)

@LovingMyBabies I had traffic court on Wednesday and they don't have an x-ray machine at the one I went to. The guard had to go through my purse by hand. It took a while. Luckily he didn't drag out any unmentionables.

I usually carry a big purse but then I start to think that I could go smaller and when I do it turns out that smaller purse is too small so back I go to the big one, trouble is I don't have kids so I don't really have an excuse, at least not a good one.

I agree creepy image.
I carry a walker in my back pocket but bought a new purse recently it's smaller than my normal but will fit my wallet and a few more things.
I was carrying a large zippered 31 bag to work it had my lunch, pain pills and junk. I just began using a much smaller lunch bag instead to seed it's my back would heal without the weight of that bag.
I once found an old please in my purse that was seeing through. Yuck. If I used the purse on a regular basis I may have found it faster or remembered it was there.

@MarshaMusselman Yes, that is a good idea. I could get them some of those smaller style ones.

@mom210 as your kids get older you may want some of them to carry backpacks and share some of your load especially since you're carrying their things already. Then you can switch to something smaller.

ooh, what a strange picture.
I carry a small purse, but it has so many pockets it feels like a big purse. I call it my Mary Poppins bag because everything I need fits in it

That is a strange photo. Being on my own I have found it is easier for me to strap on a waist purse in which I can put all I need including my little digital camera and it makes it easy if I have to take my shopping cart to the store so a do not have to keep looking out for a big handbag.
