Online Shopping: Have you surrendered to this?

After the internet arrived and became popular, many things improved... Including the way some types of shopping are done. Nowadays, iti' possible to buy virtually everything through the internet, but not all people have yet surrendered to this wonder of the modern world.
There are people with more "old" customs who still like to buy everything in person because they feel safer (which seems to me to be fairly fair considering the problems that an online purchase can cause if you aren't careful).
So, which team do you belong to: Online or Offline shopping? Maybe a mix of both?

Sometimes I avoid some online shopping because of the high values for "delivery".

My wife is an online shopping junky. She is forever ordering stuff online and returning it the next day!

I'm a mix of both! I will only shop online with reputable companies and for things I know I won't need to return!

A mix of both. There are some things you just can't find in a "brick and mortar" store any more. In fact, I had someone at Best Buy tell me that I had to order it online because they didn't carry it in the store.

@WiseGhots -- depends on what it is. I'll buy CDs or DVDs all the time online (in fact, I've bought a number from overseas). I research cars online, but I haven't reached the point where I'd buy one online yet. I'm old so I still like to handle things (instead of paying someone for handling and postage ) before I buy.
Plus, there's the "damaged in shipping" issue I just had to deal with. I had to return something to the seller because UPS ignored the "fragile" notice printed all over the box.....

@FourWalls LOL!
Buying a car online would be a litte bit of an exaggeration.. I guess.

You're right. Without doing a good research before is better not to go ahead.

When I arrived in Florida I had left a lot behind in Latvia. It was not practical to bring old stuff with me. So there were many things I needed and I got it all through online shopping. Now when I need something I go through Amazon because I have no car and I cannot get to the stores.

@WiseGhots No . . just that Canada charges tax for goods coming from the USA! And the drawing table I bought had a minor defect.

Mostly offline shopping since I get my items faster than ordering online even though the online prices are usually cheaper.

@WiseGhots Buying food at Wal Mart is one reason I use offline shopping. Now buying materials for the printer goes through Ebay.

I have used it only for things I could not buy in person. I am not a fan of online shopping. I like to see what I am buying in person.

I really like to see what I buy. My technician has helped me get some things online that I cannot get otherwise. Aside from that I prefer buying things here.

@WiseGhots so that you can easily return if it has defects which you cannot do right away with online shopping

@WiseGhots I don't buy online. It is better

Maybe mix depending on an item but morel leaning on offline, it is still nice to shop in a physical store where you get to touch the item.
