The homestead

After being a caregiver and landlady I came home to work on the homstead. While I was out I stopped by lowe`s home improvement center and grabbed a 50 ft. roll of fence and step in metal fence posts.
But I did not have time to do the fence and I still have not tried out the wood chipper, instead I took the lightweight loppers out, I cut down more blackberry bushes, poison ivy, saw brier vines and probably honey suckle vines. I cut the lower limbs from the pines I will saw down.
I walked the dogs three laps and let the hang out with me.
I have very little to cut down with the loppers before I rake it up and saw down the small pine trees. When I get this part done I will have enough room to build 2 building, one will be a greenhouse of windows, well I hope.
Tht is how I spent my late afternoon. How was your day?

Yes when I got it it was about 1/2 arce clean now its 2 acres clean.

@andriaperry No, but it is fun. There was a time when I would move things around at least once a month. Those days are gone, but I always feel the itch to rearrange.

I cleaned and vacuumed two cars. Designed and stitched (by machine) a quilt label for my sister. And did a boatload of other tedious household chores.

@andriaperry I made myself a to-do list for the day. I got done with most of it but there were a few items that will still be on the list next time around. There's one more vehicle to clean out and the tedious household chores never stay done. Six humans, 5 four-legged beasts, and 7 fowl make sure I never have a reason to complain of boredom.

I have been kind of laying low today, Church this a.m. and song leader. Pot luck meal, and I helped clean up a little. Home this afternoon, but not really in a computer mood.

When you said homestead, I immediately thought first that you meant your business. But no, I get it now. Lol! I have had an OK day, I am ready for it to be over for sure, I am on hour 10 1/2 out of 12. So, almost there, can't wait to sleep! Take care and have a good evening.

When I get everything set up it will be a physical sunshine`s homestead creations 
I will carry everything I wanted to but was to much to ship, while the online store does okay having a physical will bring in more and I can actually get chickens and have fresh eggs and more, sell produce right from the field, teach home canning and more. So yes its about the store/business. I intend to make this place a money maker.

@andriaperry I couldn't afford the wood walling I wanted so I had to use drywall in my mini cabin. I'm having the primer done Tuesday by my son and then sometime this week, I'll begin the texture paint. A couple weeks after, I'll do the regular paint and one wall I want to do a different color and pattern.
