How many hours of sleep do you need?

Sleep is one of the essential activities for our body to maintain a daily balance in our life. However, there is no exact amount of hours per day (although doctors higly recommend eight hours a day) for each person to have the benefits of that guaranteed. This works differently among people. So, how many hours do you need to feel good?

I try to get to bed at 11:30 PM every night and then usually get up when I'm ready which can vary from 8 AM to 11 AM. The benefits of retirement.

I need at least 6, but I average around 3-4 hours a night. I’m a night owl so i find it hard to fall asleep but once or in good. My kids need roughly 12-9 hours of sleep. My husband needs 8-10 because of his meds make him pretty sleepy.

I try to get about 6-8 hours. I usually go to bed a little after my kids fall asleep, and then I'm up usually about 5am.

I need eight hours to feel my best. Most of the time I get it, but when I have a spell of not being able to sleep, I'm miserable.

I need at least 8 but do better with a bit more. I wake up at 5 am each weekday for work so that means I need to be in bed between 8 and 9 pm.

I normally need 6 to 10 hours of sleep. But 8 hours is ideal. And that is restful uninterrupted sleep.
