I have not been on here much today because my daughter is freaking out and I have been talking to her. She's going through a lot of stuff and is very hard on herself when it comes to grades. She has a C in one of her classes and I tell her that's still good. She is having a hard time with friends as well. I wish I could there for her so she can cry in my arms.. but I always tell her to call or text when she needs me. I love her so much and I know she gots this.

Watching them go thru those growing pains is hard on us parents. As long as she knows that she's got you in her corner and that the lines of communication are open, she will be fine.

@hillhjill I can definitely understand, I remember feeling so bad when I'd get a bad grade....and I did that a lot ( failed a few classes myself). Hopefully things get better though!

I do think she can improve her grade. I hope she can find her way to deal with these problems.

@hillhjill Honestly, it is quite difficult to maintain a good relationship with friends. Sometimes it takes time.

Yes she can improve her grade so she is ok with that now that I got her calmed down, and the other is her friends and they are just drifting away from each other.

C is not a bad grade at all. She can also improve that grade easier than if she had a D or an F. I hope that she gets through this funk.

Thank you, I told her that it wasn't a bad grade but she thinks it is. I know this will pass and she will be ok.

C's were bad to me, too for a period of time. But I eventually learned it's not that bad, and also fixable. I hope she learns this too, and things get better for her all around.
