I went to the movies to see Isn't It Romantic and I decided to stay and see a second movie while I was out. So after the first movie I bought a ticket to The Upside.
Both movies were very good.
Isn't It Romantic was fun, colorful and quite a cute movie. The uncomfortable language was toned down as the Altered Reality part was PG haha! I liked the surprise ending. I wasn't expecting that and it was a good one. Rebel Wilson is very fun and it was just great. I give it an 8 out of 10
The Upside was a whole different kind of movie. It was very thought provoking and very funny all rolled up into one. The best part is that it is based on a true story. Sometimes real life is just quirky. I give it a 9 out of 10
Interesting that both movies were set in New York

@Jeanniemaries ya mean there'd be newer movies? ;) i fear i don't tolerate crowds much, ne'er been a fan 'f such. 's fer movies, the eldest son 'tis prone to buyin' dvd's 'n gladly shares 'em. sadly most're weird movies 'bout robots 'n such, but e'ery now'n then he gets tickled o'er animated films 'n buys those. he's purty generous 'n loans 'em out to his momma.

It is hard to overcome the language in movies today. Think of all the money you have saved!! For me I love the big screen. I Love seeing a movie along with a crowd who all laugh, groan, cheer in the same parts! How do you get the newer movies? Netflix? Hulu? Prime? Redbox?

Definitely worth it. Not overly sentimental as some movies tend to be when dealing with physically challenged people.

Yes, I figured I was dressed and out so may as well double the fun. I spend too much time at home these days during the cold winter so I'm finding reasons to go out.

I always go at the discounted times. It was Senior day and the tickets were $6.50 instead of the usual senior price of $8.50. Also Tuesday nights all tickets are $5.00. I had an event Tuesday night so couldn't go then.

Some real life stories are very remarkable and would never be believed if they weren't true.
