Grocery Pickup

February 20, 2019 6:40pm CST
Thinking about trying out the grocery pickup service that these stores are doing now. Honestly, it’s a dream come true lol to learn I can just order them online and pickup without having to walk into the darn store but I wonder about the fees involved and if anyone has tried this option out. Thoughts? Experiences? Love to hear them.

I've thought about it but I don't like the idea of someone else picking out things for me. I have friends who use this and even delivery service to your home, but I have no reason to do that. I have plenty of time to do the grocery shopping.

I too feel the same about that as well. I technically work at some of these stores as a vendor and can just pick out these items after I finish my shifts. It’s just that many times I’m just wanting to run out of these stores screaming lol especially at wal mart. Heck I often thought about ordering my food from sites like hellofresh to be delivered to my door. All of these services are just catering to My laziness.

@harriskanne87 I get it. I have no reason to spend the extra $$ for those things when have plenty of time to do it on my own. A coworker just hired me to make 3 meals a week for her b/c she doesn't have time and doesn't want to be bothered with cooking the HelloFresh stuff.

Oh wow that sounds like a cool side hustle to make money for yourself on the side. I also have to consider the fact that I love to use my rebate apps like Ibotta and Shopkick so those too are pros to shopping for myself.

I am not sure how it works. I heard that in China, they started to have this kind of service.
