Me, myself and I.
I was married once, and I did the cooking. The only thing he could manage was a pizza in the oven.
I live with family now and I do the cooking. They are the "read the instructions" type as well.
I can't bake though, nope, not me. Now, I can follow the directions on a cake okay but don't ask me to bake anything that doesn't have directions. That being said, I do okay with the "no bake" type of treats.

@Nana49 I learned by sitting on my grandmother's counters. I didn't cook for years and then had to teach myself again. There are still some things I won't try, or haven't tried. Like cooking a whole chicken.

All boring chores are done by the maid. I only add the final touches.

@allknowing isn't it a big headache guiding maid on many things. We once kept a maid for cooking, after my wife's second pregnancy.
But the maid used to keep involving my wife in the kitchen and used to argue and fight a lot.
We dismissed her after a few months.

that is great to know. In many Households, there are often issues with maids.

I do all the cooking for myself. I can eat or not eat anything I want, but watch my sugar and carb intake.

Much thanks. Life goes on and the pain is relived every birthday and anniversary. They lied when they say in time the pain will go away. They took a little bit of my heart to heaven. But we all go through this. Here at mylot, every Mother's Day, we have posts about missing our Mom's and this helps a lot.

Our housemaid does the cooking. I've never cooked a meal for my family at all. But sometimes I would try some Korean food or pasta as a snack but never our local dish for a meal.

A lot of the time my husband does 75% of the cooking and I do thenother 25% of the cooking. Right now I do all the cooking since he has a cast on. He typically likes to cook unless it’s meat loaf then it’s all me. I like to bake so I make the cakes, cupcakes, muffins and stuff.

Most of the cooking is done by me, though hubby at times makes something himself.

@Nana49 Sometimes it's nice to have your hubby cook for you... though hopefully, the food is edible.

My mom use to do all of it from the time my brother and i were babies to about 18, besides a few things id make myself. Then i took over doing half the cooking for like two years, and then years ago i started doing all of it besides like 4 things that my mom makes. Unless im not feeling well, then she makes more.
My brother also makes some things for himself now, when he feels like it.

My parents do the cooking at home. They cook so yummy, I would love to cook someday, in fact I have cooked several times, but mostly they're in charged.

I'm the chief cook in our household. It's been like that since our last household help left about 7 years ago. Sometimes my husband would offer to cook, and my kids would bake some cookies. My 11 year old can now fry so she's a big help when I'm not well enough to cook.

It used to be me but I’m not a big fan of cooking. My husband does more of it and enjoys it more because he gets to choose what he wants to eat. I told him i needed the help with more of it because of my work schedule and juggling home responsibilities with the kids.
